Don’t Open, Dead Inside
Rick Grimes, dressed in a hospital gown, wakes up disoriented in an empty hospital room. He struggles to get out of bed, clearly confused and weak. The room is dimly lit, with debris scattered around. As Rick stumbles through the hospital, he encounters eerie silence and signs of chaos, such as overturned furniture and bloodstains on the walls. His face shows bewilderment and fear as he tries to make sense of his surroundings. The building is eerily quiet, adding to the tension.
Rick makes his way to a set of large double doors that are chained shut. Painted on the doors in large, ominous letters are the words “DON’T OPEN, DEAD INSIDE.” The doors shake violently as hands push through the gap, revealing there are zombies trapped inside. Rick backs away, clearly shocked and terrified by the realization that something terrible has happened. The scene highlights Rick’s confusion and the impending danger, setting the stage for the challenges he will face in the new world.
